Also this year the city of Venice propose the Christmas Market. In the historical centre, in “ Campo S. Stefano “, from early days of December until the Christmas Eve, will be staged the event “Christmas in the Lagoon” and, thanks to the effort of the Artisans Association, there will be installed 30 wooden houses, a fine reproduction of the ones used in the northern Europe countries.

Homage to Lorenzo Lotto: the paintings of the Ermitage to the Galleries of the Academy

Thanks to an agreement between the Ermitage museum of Saint Petersburg and the Venice Academia Art Galleries, it will be possible, to visit an exposure entirely dedicated to the Venetian painter Lorenzo Lotto.
That will be held from the 24th of November 2011 to the 26th of February 2012.

American’s Cup World Series arrives finally also in Venice
