Dance remains as one of the last rituals which can rewrite the history of the world and reflect on its meaning. Modern dance obliges the solitude of the human body to construct paths of reflection in which concrete and abstract merge in an interact.

Signum Foundation at Palazzo Dona’

Since 2009, at the cultural map of Venice has been added a new reference : Palazzo Donà in Campo San Polo, centre of the polish foundation “Signum Foundation”. In Poland, created in 2002 by Jarosław and Hanna Przyborowski, the foundation does charity for poor children with the help of some artists and try to educate in all over the country. Palazzo Donà is the first permanent exhibition centre in Europe.

In the Biblioteca Marciana you will be able to see a personal exhibition of Huang Kehua, very famous chinese photographer, called ” The magic eye of Nature”, organised by the I.N.A.C. (the National Istitute of Contemporary Art) and cured by Vincenzo Sanfo.
The exhibition will be integrated in the round of the Museums of Piazza San Marco.

The Venice film festival has added “Essential Killing” by Polish director Jerzy Skolimowski to the movies competing for this year’s Golden Lion.
The film, starring Vincent Gallo as a member of the Taliban captured by Americans and transferred to Europe for interrogation, brings the competition lineup to 24.
