Opens at Ca ‘ Pesaro, in the new “space, Dom Pérignon“, the exhibition of 2015 Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, under the scientific direction of Gabriella Belli.
Until March 29 is proposed an unusual reading of famous work of Auguste Rodin “Les Bourgeois de Calais” (1901) by one of the most influential international landscape photographs, the German Candida Höfer.

GRISHA BRUSKIN ALEFBET: THE ALPHABET OF MEMORY

For the first time in Venice, Grisha Bruskin (Moscow1945) offers us an evocative and inspiring exhibition, a complicated rebus but not impossible to decipher:
Alefbet is an alphabet of Kabbalistic nature, populated by 160 figures including angels and demons from the animal world, men pierced by lightning or carrying upon the shoulders their own shadow.
A pictorial Carnival, a little fairy, a sort of “archaeological” reconstruction of Shoa where fragments of a lost past resurfaces, experienced only indirectly by the artist, through the stories of relatives.

Correr Museum – Empress Elizabeth’s Rooms

In the magnificent St. Mark’s square you can find a place where extraordinary pieces of art are shown to the public and where a number of art exhibitions take place: Correr Museum.
One of the reasons for paying a visit is that of admiring the rooms which were occupied by Empress Elizabeth of Austria, the famous and beloved Sissi, during her first stay in Venice in 1856.
