rev95272(1)Twentyone still lifes by Giorgio Morandi (Bologna, 1890 – 1964), some of which are from private collections and are on public display for the very first time. “Silent and humble” paintings in which the colours “vibrate with a slightly subdued brilliance that seems to come from within … a style of painting that belongs perfectly in the perceptive and mental space between the visible and invisible” (Francesco Poli, from the exhibition catalogue).

The garden and beyond: a global garden

Following in the theoretical footsteps of French landscape architect and agricultural engineer Gilles Clément (France, b.1943), keeping in tune with his inspiring idea of a “Planetary Garden”, this present project is intended as an open theoretical approach&artistic discourse on the “garden” seen as a metaphysical space: the garden as a state of mind.
