Felice Carena and the Venetian Years

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Felice Carena (Cumiana, Turin 1879 – Venice, 1966) is an indiscussed lumirary or the italian art of the Twentieth century. This exhibition can be admired until the 18th July 2010 at the wonderfull venue of Palazzo Franchetti in Venice.

This tribute is a great opportunity to rediscover the Carena’s operas in a new perspective, thank to the new assessment completely different from the one of the show held in Turin in 1996. There will be more than 90 artworks coming from many Italian Museums and from private collections. The paintings are exposed in chronoligical order.

All the information about the exhibition can be found in the official site of Felice Carena’s .
